THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
What an AMAZING session!! Brianne & Nelson fit like two pieces to a puzzle!! They were fun and vibrant and we had an amazing time! Valley Forge National Historical Park had great views and many different backdrops. Their wedding will take place at Osbornia Farm in October of 2022. Shay Scala Photography wishes the couple an AMAZING wedding day!!
HOW YOU MET?
We met through Facebook actually! Nelson happened to come across my profile, as we had many mutual friends, and decided to send me a message. I was surprised, but decided to take a chance and message him back, and we started talking every day getting to know each other and finding out that we had a lot in common. Finally we decided to meet in person, and the rest is history! When we met there was definitely an instant connection.
HOW YOU FELL IN LOVE?
We both agree that it was pretty much love at first sight. We instantly formed a connection that was unlike anything we’d ever experienced before. And still, almost 6 years later, we find more things to love about each other every day.
HOW DID YOU PROPOSE?
The two of us went to Atlantic City for a little “weekend getaway” with our good friends. On the second night there we were on the boardwalk with our friends having a great time and right before we got back to our hotel our friend Tara suggested to me that we take a picture together under the Hard Rock Hotel sign, where we were staying. She held up the phone to take the picture and in the background all I saw was Nelson down on one knee behind me. I was so surprised and in complete shock!! And of course I said yes!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT WITH PLANNING YOUR WEDDING?
The entire process! We are both enjoying planning a day that represents both of us and the love we share. We can’t wait to share this special day with our friends and family and create memories that we’ll look back on for the rest of our lives.
