HERE ARE SOME FAQ’S

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?

By far the best way to get a better sense of my style is to read my blog, take a look at my portfolio, and also to follow me on Instagram. But, in a nutshell, my style of photography is a mindset more than anything else. I value real creativity over gimmicks, honesty over cliché, and fun over formality. This way, magic happens – it’s relaxed, playful and ultimately allows me to capture you guys at your absolute peak in a way that doesn’t look like a copy of every other wedding you’ve seen. It keeps things fresh, it feels thrilling and we have a blast doing it!

HOW WILL YOU EDIT OUR PHOTOS?

The most important thing to say is that I don’t muck around with current trends – trends have a habit of going out of style. That’s why I edit in a classic, timeless way that means your photos will look just as fresh in ten, twenty, thirty years as they do today. I firmly believe that your photos are just as much for your future selves as much as they are for you right now.

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE WHEN YOU’RE AT WORK ON A WEDDING DAY?

The most common question I’m asked by guests on a wedding day is ‘So, how long have you known these two?’ That’s because I’m basically like an extra guest with added cameras. I also have a solid track record of soothing frayed nerves and producing sewing kits if buttons pop off. Mostly, I’m just having a great time doing the best job in the world and taking amazing photos for you.

DO YOU SHOOT WEDDINGS OUTSIDE OF PA?

All the time. My packages are exactly the same – all you need to do is cover my travel and accommodation.  Please reach out to me for more information.

CAN WE BOOK AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?

Absolutely. They’re great fun, a great way to get used to having your photo taken, and a really beautiful keepsake for a totally unique time in your lives together. Being a Pennsylvania Wedding Photographer, I do most of my engagement shoots here in York, PA but often venture out from time to time; let me know what you’re thinking, and let’s make it happen.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE BOOK, AND BEFORE OUR WEDDING?

A couple of months before your wedding, I’ll gather all the detailed information I need to know to photograph your big day: addresses, timings, contact details, and all the rest. We’ll also have one last phone call in the week beforehand to make sure that any final bits and pieces are off your plate and onto mine. But that’s not all – I’m always responsive to my emails, answering any questions you may have and providing advice to all my couples all year round. Better yet, go right ahead and pick up the phone and I will be happy to chat with you.

HOW LONG WILL YOU BE THERE FOR?

Plenty of photographers have fixed time limits on the weddings they shoot, but that doesn’t make sense to me; it’s not the full story of your day. I’ll stay as long as you want me to be there – from beginning to end, no limits. If you would like more information please reach out to me.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH OUR PHOTOS AFTER THE WEDDING?

As soon as the morning after, I’m already at work on editing selected highlights of your wedding day to be ready within 72 hours. After that, I start working on the rest. You can find plenty of examples of highlights dropped over on my Instagram.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

It varies from wedding to wedding, but typically in the region of 700 to 900 images. The important thing to mention is that every photo is delivered as part of a carefully curated story of your day – each photo tells a new part of that story, and is carefully selected and edited to take you right back to when it all happened. (Don’t worry, I definitely won’t be sending you photos of your flowers from 50 different angles. You’ll only get the very best.)

HOW AND WHEN DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

You’ll get them sent to you in a private online gallery. You can use this gallery to make lists of favorites, share with friends and family, and even buy prints. I’ll also send your photos through a USB drive as well. Turnaround time is 4-6 weeks, but I’ll keep you updated the whole way.
