THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION
It was a chilly day in January and the grounds were very very slippery! We had to be very careful every step of the way. You can see in the pictures there was a time or two someone may have slipped LOL. Katie & Bob eloped about a month ago, but still plan to have a nice wedding and reception. They hope to do this in October or December of 2022 and Shay Scala Photography hopes to be able to capture this wonderful moment! Here is there love story as told in their own words:
HOW YOU MET?
We met at Panera Bread for a writing group a few years ago. When Covid shut everything down, we reconnected online around Thanksgiving last year.
HOW YOU FELL IN LOVE?
Katie got snowed in at Bob’s apartment earlier this year. We went for a walk after dark, and kissed under a lamp post (Narnia!) and we both realized we didn’t want her to leave.
HOW DID YOU PROPOSE?
Katie designed a scavenger hunt that ended in the winery where we had our first date. We put together a giant jigsaw puzzle with memories of our time together that spelled out “Will you marry me?”
WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT WITH PLANNING YOUR WEDDING?
Big party with all of our friends, and a excuse to make lots of spreadsheets!
YOUR LOVE STORY IS MADE INTO A MOVIE – WHAT WOULD YOU TITLE IT?
Eventually Ever After
DESCRIBE YOUR RELATIONSHIP IN 5 WORDS.
